Pharmacist-Led Medicare Drug Coverage Review
Look beyond today’s medication list when choosing your 2027 prescription coverage.
The lowest monthly premium doesn’t always mean the lowest overall cost—or the best fit for your medication needs.
I’m Dr. Nancy Taylor, a pharmacist and independent patient advocate. I personally review your medications, health conditions, pharmacy needs, and prescription coverage to help you make a more informed decision for 2027.
Let’s Play the “What If?” Game
What if you have surgery? Receive a new diagnosis? Need a different medication? Or your current condition changes and requires a more expensive drug?
No one can predict everything that will happen next year. But when there are medication needs we can reasonably anticipate, I believe they deserve a place in the conversation before you choose your coverage.
What Your Review Includes
Your current prescription medications and the conditions they treat
Medication changes you know about or can reasonably anticipate
Drug coverage, formularies, medication costs, and coverage restrictions
Prior authorization, step therapy, quantity limits, and other medication-related requirements
Your current pharmacy, mail-order options, and pharmacy preferences
Health changes, procedures, or treatments that could affect your medication needs
Your personal priorities for prescription coverage
Medicare Prescription Payment Plan considerations, when relevant
If you have a stand-alone Part D plan, I’ll identify three strong plan options for you to consider.
If your drug coverage is included in a Medicare Advantage plan, I’ll review the medication-related portion of your coverage and identify issues to consider as you evaluate your broader Medicare Advantage options.
You’ll receive a written summary of my findings and a 15–20 minute call with me to discuss the review and your questions.
Independent Guidance. No Insurance Sales.
I don’t sell Medicare insurance, earn a commission from a plan, or enroll clients.
If your insurance broker referred you to me, I’m not replacing that relationship. You can take my findings back to your broker better prepared to discuss your options and make your enrollment decision. You can also enroll yourself through Medicare.gov.
